What's the difference?

People are intrigued by the "dog training with a difference".  Everybody asks "What's the difference?".  I'm so glad you asked!

I'm interested in helping you to develop a dog you're happy to be out with.  I'm interested in helping you build calm and self-control in your dog.  A calm dog learns easily.  A calm dog doesn't usually stress out their handlers.

There are many good trainers who can help you teach your dog to sit or lie down.  My deeper question is "Why bother teaching a sit if your dog has zero impulse control and won't sit when you're out in public anyway?"

Hence, my first priority is for you to teach calm and self-control.  I will also teach you how to gradually introduce distractions and have continued success on your journey.  So when we do get around to teaching those normal doggy things like sit and down, you can build on your success and enjoy your dog.

Game ON!
